From restaurants to accommodation facilities, from catering to private events, and including consulting and private chef services, we combine tradition and innovation to create authentic experiences. The history of the Sardegna & Toscana group was born from an encounter that deeply marked Italian food and wine culture. In the 1960s, Sardinian shepherds arrived in Tuscany, bringing with them not only their flocks but also traditions, flavors, and an authentic way of experiencing community.
From that encounter, a unique blend was born, made of cuisine, hospitality, and human bonds that revitalized entire territories. Today, our group embraces that spirit and projects it into the present: uniting two different yet complementary lands, transforming the journey of transhumanance into a living metaphor of our identity.
The group's name and vision were born right during a journey towards Florence, a moment of reflection in which we brought together our professional and personal experiences, transforming them into a common project. Like transhumance, that car ride was also a symbol of movement, adaptation, and encounter: the spark that led us to imagine a brand capable of crossing territories and cultures, bringing the best of Sardinia and Tuscany into every dish, every room, and every event.`

Alessandro Francesco Sau, of Sardinian origin, is the founder and CEO of the Sardegna & Toscana group. His career has seen him grow within some of the most prestigious Italian and international establishments, from the Costa Smeralda to the Cristallo in Cortina, and through organizations such as the Royal Spa at George V and the St. Regis in London. These experiences have allowed him to refine his managerial skills and a unique sensitivity toward catering and hospitality.`
Having moved to Tuscany, he saw in these two cultures the possibility of creating a common path. The group's logo represents him: the “A” that encompasses the nuraghe and the Tuscan hills is the symbol of his idea of a bridge between two identities that, together, become a single force.
Mirela Ganea, Alessandro's wife, is the face of the group's hospitality. Sardegna & Toscana. Her experience gained in renowned establishments has given her the ability to make every detail part of a thoughtful and authentic welcome.
Her approach is not only professional but deeply human. Mirela embodies that dimension of hospitality that can take you back to the most beautiful childhood memories: the scents of home, the simplicity of gestures, the carefreeness of the early years of life.
